Whoa!
Thats all I can say about this seasons Alias finale. As is usual with Alias, just when you think you know what is going on they turn everything upside down.
Thats all I can say for now. I'll post again soon.

Why a penny?
Ok, I just wanted to correct my last post. The two episodes airing on 3/18/05 are not the last two of the season. There is one more on 3/25/05. That is the season finale.
There is a rumor out there that the 5th season will be the last but there is not facts to back that up. Last year the cast and JJ were saying that they didn't know if the show would be back for season 4 but it was picked up by ABC. Now this year is doing even better in the ratings thanks to the 22 straight episodes and the day and time change. I think if the show does good in the ratings again next season it will be back. But that is just my humble opinion.
Catch ya later,

She's alive! according to ABC's official Alias website Irena is alive. Sydney, Jack, and Nadia all work on finding her in the season finale on Wed. May 18. On the website when it says Irena's name it also puts the actresses name in Paren's. Usually this means that that actress or actor is actually in the episode. Does this mean that Lena Olin finally agreed to come back to Alias? I hope so. Maybe this will be the major arch for next season. More soon!

Hello again,
It's been a little while since I have made a personal post but I do see that my blog has been getting decent traffic which is good. I'm glad there are people out there interested in what I have to say.
Today I got my copy of Dave Matthews Band's "Stand Up." Yes I got mine a day before it is realease. Oh happy day for me when I am checking the UPS tracking page for my package when I see that it is in Transit to be delivered. When I checked it on Saturday it said it was on time but for a May 11 delivery date which is the day AFTER it is to be released. I was not too impressed with that. But thanks to the speedy delevery of UPS I got it today! (A note of full disclosure: My brother works for UPS. But that never affects my views on this blog.) I think I will be posting a full review soon but I will just quickly go over it right now.
First I'd like to say that, just as the band has been warning us about, this is a new Dave Matthews Band. Most of the album is very far from what they have done in the past. Songs like "Hunger For the Great Light" with Steffan playing electric guitar just don't sound like them, completely. What I mean by that is it is in a different style then what most people think about when they hear the name Dave Matthews Band. They think of songs like "Crash Into Me," "Ants Marching," and "Wbat Would You Say." This is what I like so much about the band is that they are always evolving. Each album has a different sound that is distinctly DMB and this one is no different. Even though it is a different style you still know it's them. The first time I heard "American Baby" I knew the after the first few seconds that it was the new DMB song. I think if the traditional DMB fans have a open mind and take the time to really listen to the album and watch the DVD side to see the process the band went through to make this album and think you will like it. Like Dave said at the end of the video, "This is a good album."

Well, it was a closer Super Bowl than most predicted. I'm glad, a blowout game is boring. The Eagles put up a good fight up until the last five minutes where they just acted like that had the whole time in the world when they had to score two times. Oh well. It was a fun game to watch with some funny commercials. In case you didn't watch the game or hear the score it was 24 - 21 Patriots.
Well, one week of training the newbie to replace me in my old shift and then I get a vacation!!!! It will be nice to have a week off. And guess what I'm doing during my vacation? NOTHING! Well, not really nothing, I am going to get things done that I haven't been able to for the past year. Mainly I will rest though. I really do need this week off.
I'll leave you tonight with the following quote which says all I need to say about needing a vacation
I love mankind,
It's people I hate.

No, not the cookies.....mmmmmm cookies.....anyways. It's been a little while, I just haven't had much time to update so hopefully I will soon. Why now? you ask, well I just got the shift time that I wanted since I started. Now instead of working 12:30pm to 9pm I will be working 9:30am until 6pm. It's almost bankers hours. I will actually live a real life. I work days, I have most Saturdays off, I have all Sundays off. Yea! Now when I get out of work, everything will not be closed. I also get a week vacation PAID right before my new time starts. Now, I will also be able to take a night class if I want, so I can move towards a career, not just a job.
Also today I got a free 1.3 Mega Pixel camera so there might be more pictures here for you to cringe at. Also I might be going to Hawaii so you will get to see some of those pic's as well.
Well, this Sunday is the SuperBowl so I will comment on the on Monday or Sunday night. See you then

To all of you that voted, I would like to say thank you, no matter who you voted for. I recieved an e-mail from John Kerry to supporters and I am posting it the way that I got it.
Dear Supporter,
Earlier today I spoke to President Bush, and offered him and Laura our congratulations on their victory. We had a good conversation, and we talked about the danger of division in our country and the need, the desperate need, for unity for finding the common ground, coming together. Today, I hope that we can begin the healing.
In America, it is vital that every vote counts, and that every vote be counted. But the outcome should be decided by voters, not a protracted legal process. I would not give up this fight if there was a chance that we would prevail. But it is now clear that even when all the provisional ballots are counted, which they will be, there won't be enough outstanding votes for our campaign to be able to win Ohio. And therefore, we cannot win this election.
It was a privilege and a gift to spend two years traveling this country, coming to know so many of you. I wish I could just wrap you in my arms and embrace each and every one of you individually all across this nation. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you.
To all of you, my volunteers and online supporters, all across this country who gave so much of themselves, thank you. Thanks to William Field, a six-year-old who collected $680, a quarter and a dollar at a time selling bracelets during the summer to help change America. Thanks to Michael Benson from Florida who I spied in a rope line holding a container of money. It turned out he raided his piggy bank and wanted to contribute. And thanks to Alana Wexler, who at 11 years old and started Kids for Kerry.
I thank all of you, who took time to travel, time off from work, and their own vacation time to work in states far and wide. You braved the hot days of summer and the cold days of the fall and the winter to knock on doors because you were determined to open the doors of opportunity to all Americans. You worked your hearts out, and I say, don't lose faith. What you did made a difference, and building on itself, we will go on to make a difference another day. I promise you, that time will come -- the election will come when your work and your ballots will change the world, and it's worth fighting for.
I'm proud of what we stood for in this campaign, and of what we accomplished. When we began, no one thought it was possible to even make this a close race, but we stood for real change, change that would make a real difference in the life of our nation, the lives of our families, and we defined that choice to America. I'll never forget the wonderful people who came to our rallies, who stood in our rope lines, who put their hopes in our hands, who invested in each and every one of us. I saw in them the truth that America is not only great, but it is good.
So here -- with a grateful heart, I leave this campaign with a prayer that has even greater meaning to me now that I've come to know our vast country so much better and that prayer is very simple: God bless America.
Thank you,
John Kerry

VOTE
Make sure if you are registered to vote you get out and vote. This is an important year and you won't be able to complain for the next four years if you don't vote. I just got back from voting.
Also thanks to Tahmegirl for finding an error on my post from 10/6/04.
