The Sun

And you probably don't want to hear tomorrows another day
But I promise you you'll see the sun again
And your asking me why pains the only way to happiness
And I promise you you'll see the sun again
I promise you you'll see the sun again

9/17/04

Celebrate we will,
'Cause life is short
But sweet for certain...

...We climb on two by two
To be sure that all these days continue...

It's Good to be Posting Again!

I'm glad that I'm back to my good ol' posting self again. I missed doing this and getting the reply's that I was getting. I don't get a lot of hits but I get more that expected. I checked today on Google, Yahoo, and Search.com and found that if you type in ViperWD and click search I'm right there at the top. So if any of you forget my address you can just search for it! :) Ok, I have a thought of the day for today:

I'll lean on you and you lean on me and we'll be okay.

Ok, that quote brings me to my topic today. One of my best friends is going to be moving away soon. Tomorrow (Friday) is her last day at her current job where we met. She will be moving an hour away to goto a better job that will help her get to where she wants to be for a carrier. I will miss her, but I am happy that things are looking up for her. I've had the pleasure of knowing her since 2001. We worked together for about a year. I moved on to another job because I needed the money, then on to another job because I couldn't take Red Lobster any more. I love my job at PowerNet Global and I am glad that I have gotten here. I hope she is glad once she starts her new job that she is there as well. I also hope that even with the distance we can still stay friends and hang out once in a while. It will be hard, I've had friends move away before and we didn't stay in touch very well. I hope that doesn't happen this time. I would like to wish her the best of luck with her new job and nothing but success and happiness. Also her birthday is coming up on 9/26. For those of you out there that know who I'm talking about please post a comment on this posting about your thoughts of her and wish her a happy birthday. Please don't use her name though, I don't know if she would like that or not.

That's all for today,
GoodNight

Can I get a WHAT! WHAT!

So it's been a while since my last post. In fact it's been over a month. Why you ask? Well, I have been pretty busy. First off, I have been playing with my new TiVo. Second, the Olympics were pretty cool to watch, especially with TiVo. I watched the most Olympics this year than any other year. Third, it's been nice out so I have been trying to spend time outside.

I'll go into everything with more detail in the coming days. Today I would like to point out something I just found myself recently.

How many of you out there use Microsoft Internet Explorer? I'm willing to bet most of you, if not all of you. Well there is a "new" that, in my opinion, is way better than IE and more secure. It's called FireFox. It was created by Mozilla The are responsible for three browsers now. The Mozilla browser, of course. FireFox. And Netscape Navigator. The last of which I'm sure you've all heard of. Well all three are based on the same engine, Gecko, but all three are different. Netscape Navigator was my favorite until recently. Mozilla is a slightly cut down version of Netscape without all the hoopla. But FireFox takes the best of Netscape Navigator, mixes it with better speed than IE and adds extras that you can chose to add or not. You can customize everything. You have to check it out if you want something better, safer, and faster than Microsoft Internet Explorer! Click on the button below and download FireFox and try it out. It's a small download, under 5MB, and worth a try!
Get Firefox!

That's all for me today, I'll try to be back tomorrow.
